Hi, my name is Gisella Krinzinger. I am 27 years old and I am from Wels, Austria.
Growing up, I didn't really have much experience in the outdoors. However, I fell in love with thru hiking early on during my Pacific Crest Trail hike.
Before hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018, I was working as an elementary school teacher for two years. Even though I enjoyed working with the kids, I quickly realized that teaching wasn't right for me.

Hello! My name is Joey Parker aka Hillbilly Joe  from Port Angeles Washington.
I have a wife of 13 years, and my son who will be 5 in December.  We are expecting a new baby in late February 2019.  We also have a pack of 5 dogs. We are
I've been an outdoor lover my whole life.  Started backpacking and horse camping with my dad before I even started school.  I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, and pretty much anything that gets me outside in the woods.

Hi, my name is Trevor Pyke aka Crunchmaster. I am 23 years old and I’m from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
I have chosen to hike for the ALS Association, which is a charity that I have become very familiar with in the past couple of years. My grandma was diagnosed with ALS about two years ago and she passed away this past March, while I was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I would like to raise awareness and money so that a cure can be found for this horrible disease.
I currently work at Amazon in Chattanooga.
My desire to do a thru hike began when I was in high school so I decided to hike the Appalachian Trail after I graduated in 2013. After completing the Appalachian Trail I was completely hooked! In 2015 I completed the Pacific Crest Trail, and in 2016-2017 I hiked about 1,200 miles of the Continental Divide Trail. This past summer I completed the Pacific Crest Trail for a second time. I have hiked about 8,700 miles since 2013, and I’m excited to add to my total on the Great Western Loop!

Hey Y'all! My name is Brittney but my trail name is Tidbit. In 2018 I hiked 1017 miles of the PCT. I was born and raised in Texas. I grew up in San Angelo, Tx where I stayed through college. I've always loved the outdoors and spend a lot of time at my grandparents lake house fishing, swimming, and kayaking.
My love of the outdoors only grew as I got older and eventually led to me becoming  Park Ranger with the National Park Service.

While I no longer am a ranger I still am passionate about protecting theses beautiful wild places and promoting stewardship and Leave No Trace values. I am also a big advocate for everyone getting outdoors and exploring.  Not only can you learn a little about nature but also can discover a bit about yourself in the process. Which is why I will be hiking to support the National Park Foundation.

Hello! My name is Holger Horsthemke aka Hulk. I'm 29 years old and I'm from Gütersloh in the west of Germany. I work as a technician at an engineering company. The last few years i hiked some smaller trails in Germany with friends and family. One of the trails was in the Black Forest for about 200 miles. On the 20th of April 2018 i started the big journey on the PCT. I started with a good friend. We were very excited and couldn’t stop each other from hiking day and night. After two month of hiking my hikingpartner needed to go back because of personally reasons. We started together we quit together. But we want to start again. When there is the time

My name is Daisy Nicole Kirby, aka Smiles,  I'm nineteen years old and live in San Bernardino, CA. I work at an Amazon Warehouse in Fontana, CA where I pick, stow, pack, and ship off packages I hiked 1400 miles of the PCT, as well as Spain to 550 miles of Camino de Santiago in Spain. We completed the Camino de Santiago 550 miles! These trails have brought me a new found confidence and the trail has helped me become more social. I am now home and I am missing the trail more than ever.My Charity for this hike is Best Buddies. Best Buddies is an organization that consists of volunteers that create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  I want to help end the social, physical and economic isolation of 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

My cousin Vicky has Cerebral Palsy and has always been excluded from everything. My cousin helped me become aware of the isolation of people with disabilities and I wanted to be involved in anything that changed that. I became an associate officer in the Best Buddies program and helped run the classroom.
